| PARK FALLS: FUNDRAISER FOR BRIAN SCHLOER, MOTORCYCLE / DEER ACCIDENT SURVIVOR
In the early morning hours of July 3rd, Brian Schloer was on his way to work. He was thrown from his motorcycle when he hit a deer.
Emergency services responded, and he was airlifted by helicopter to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
He suffered trauma to his spinal cord, vertebrae, and discs in his neck and back. After a nine hour long surgery, the doctors were able to fuse together his fractured vertebrae.
The doctors are hopeful that he will be able to make a full recovery.
Given there will be many expenses that insurance will not cover, his family could use help with travel and lodging expenses to spend time with Brian during his recovery.
According to his Go Fund Me page, the Schloer family "always gives freely of themselves to help others, never asking anything in return."
If you would like to help Brian and his family with expenses, you can visit his GoFundMe page at http://www.gofundme.com/help-for-the-schloer-family
