We are currently seeking Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, or Software Engineering students for a Summer 2021 internship opportunity.
Job Description
An Engineering Intern will assist in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Under direct supervision and guidance of a mentor, this individual will provide drafting support to our Engineering teams, assist with design modifications, make design enhancements, and perform other design functions as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Simple project/product development tasks, including: writing and/or verifying specifications, maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, and helping select equipment, raw materials & products.
Assist in creating concepts and design approaches for new products, processes, and/or test methods.
Design and document simple tooling & fixtures.
Complete basic tasks on engineering documentation.
Aid in our continuous improvement process program by identifying areas for improvement, suggesting solutions, and submitting ideas accordingly.
Experience with or knowledge of SolidWorks, machine design, technical drawing, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering majors only, please
Must have at least 1 year of related schooling (see above) completed by Summer 2021
